At HSBC I decided to take a step back and explore the entire software development cycle. As my first time working in a banking institution, I went through rigorous training to familiarize myself with the several phases of a bank and how technology plays a pivotal role in enabling them. Further on, I completed 8 different projects during my internship, released 2 new digital card products and also created new systems to manage internal resource planning and financial governance. I'm also proud that I was in-charge of organizing the standup for the digital and transformation teams in Hong Kong and Malaysia, having over 200 people in attendance every week !
